Knit 102 - Learn to Knit in the Round
a 2 class series - second class meets the following week at the same time.

This class picks up after Knit 101. Now that you know how to knit and purl back and forth, the next step is to knit in the round on a circular needle! We will make a basic beanie or toque in one or two colors using circular and double pointed needles.

You will also learn how to decrease your stitches for the crown of the hat and how to finish off your project.

Materials:

Size 7 16" circular needles

Size 7 Double pointed needles

Students can also choose to purchase a 40" circular to learn magic loop (Chiaogoo), in which case you do not need the 16" needle or DPNs.

1-2 skeins of , or another wool  worsted weight yarn

CLASS REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION
1. If you would prefer to sign-up over the phone, call HCW at 707-7396 with credit card information to secure a spot.

2. There is a $2 cancellation fee. A 5-day notice is required for cancellation without additional penalty. Cancellations made within 5 days of a class are subject to a 50% class charge. Cancellations made the day of class and no-shows are not refundable.

3.Classes may be canceled in the event of insufficient sign-ups (less than 3 students) - if we cancel a class you will be notified the week before by phone & will be given a full refund.
